Summary description: Create illustrations for network protocol specifications
Announcement text:
The bytefield package helps the user create illustrations for network protocol specifications and anything else that utilizes fields of data. These illustrations show how the bits and bytes are laid out in a packet, register, or memory. Version 2.7 of bytefield corrects the alignment of curly braces when the document is compiled with LuaLaTeX. Thanks to Georgi Nikiforov for the bug report and for testing the revised package.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/bytefield The package’s files themselves can be inspected at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/bytefield/
