Summary description: Provides customisable enumerate and itemize environments, and also in-paragraph versions.

Announcement text:
The enumerate environment now allows an extra optional argument which specifies the item number to be used to determine the maximum label width in place of the default 7. Usage example: \begin{enumerate}[(i)][13] \item ... \end{enumerate} This updated package is backwards compatible with earlier documents.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/paralist . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/paralist (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf
