TeX Live 2024 - installer packages

This directory contains a network-based installer and packages for TeX Live https://tug.org/texlive/. It is mirrored via CTAN https://ctan.org/.

The TeX Live web pages https://tug.org/texlive/ have information on:

If you have a complete copy of this directory (for example, via rsync), including the archive/ and tlpkg/ subdirectories, you can run the install-tl (install-tl-windows.bat for Windows) script present here.

The update-tlmgr-latest.sh and .exe archives here are one way to update tlmgr itself, or to recover from tlmgr being completely broken https://tug.org/texlive/tlmgr.html#disaster.

It is not recommended, but as an alternative to this network install, you can use the giant ISO image of the distribution http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/Images/.
