Linux Libertine for XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX
========================================

This directory contains all necessary files to use the free
Linux Libertine family with LaTeX and the engines LuaTeX and
XeTeX. For PDFTeX look at the package "libertine-legacy"
which you can also find CTAN in the directory
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/libertine-legacy


Documentation
-------------
There is currently only documentation in German available.

In short: write
\usepackage{libertineotf}
in your LaTeX preamble and your document uses Linux Libertine

The fonts are created by Philipp Poll (gillian at linuxlibertine.org)
and are licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public
License (Version 2, with font exception) and under the terms of the
Open Font License. For details look into the doc/ directory of the
distribution or on the sourceforge page.

The package was originally written by Michael Niedermair and is now
maintained by Patrick Gundlach. The package is licensed under the
terms of the LaTeX Project Public License version 1.3c, in
detail in the doc/ directory.

libertineotf – Linux Libertine fonts for use with Lua and

The Linux-Libertine project offers a font family with a wide range of shapes, and support of several alphabets (including Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Hebrew).

This bundle provides the fonts in OpenType format (see libertine-type1 and biolinum-type1 packages for a release in Adobe Type 1 format).

The bundle is now obsolete, being replaced by the libertine package.
