README
Edmargin provides a very simple design for critical editions. There are predefined endnote sections for textual notes, explanatory notes and emendations. Markers in the text may be either traditional footnote marks (distinctive for each series) or marginal references to the page in the endnotes section where the comment is to be found. Endnotes can be set either as individual notes or as block paragraphs (for cases in which there are many small notes). Endnote sections have headers of the form "Textual notes to pp. xx--yy." New endnote sections can be defined on the fly. This material is subject to the LaTeX Project Public License. edmargin – Multiple series of endnotes for critical editions
Edmargin provides a very simple scheme for endnote sections for critical editions. Endnotes can either be marked in the text, or with marginal references to the page in the note sections where the note is to be found. Notes can be set in individual paragraphs, or in block paragraph mode (where there are many short notes). Note sections will have running headers of the form “Textual notes to pp. xx--yy”. New note sections can be created on the fly. There are predefined endnote sections for textual notes, emendations, and explanatory notes.
