LamsTeX – A merge of the best in AMS-TeX and LaTeX
The package was produced in response to a perceived demand from AMSTeX users for the sorts of facilities that LaTeX provides. (In the event, most such users use AMS-LaTeX, which the AMS develops.)
The distribution comprises TeX source and set of fonts (as METAFONT source) that are used in the package's commutative diagram macros.
Furthermore, two applications are associated with LamsTeX, an index-processor that deals with LamsTeX's indexing commands, and dvipaste.
