README
mff -- simple METAFONT font-creation program -- distribution 2.9 mff is a program for maintaining TeX font families using METAFONT. It is most useful when the font programs are written to take advantage of its special features; but even if they are not it still has its uses. MANIFEST is a list of files. INSTALL has installation hints. mff was developed on a SunOS system. I would appreciate suggestions on portability. NB: mff used to be called mfjob; the name was changed to distinguish it from the MFjob that is part of Eberhard Mattes' emTeX distribution for MS-DOS and OS/2 machines. If you find mff useful or amusing, please send me a postcard to the address in the file COPYING. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mff is copyright (C) 1991, 1992 Damian Cugley. See the file COPYING for information about making copies.

mff-util – METAFONT management
Mff is a front-end to METAFONT, which will manage font families in a manner reminiscent of the mfjob application in the (now largely defunct) emTeX distribution.
The package promotes a style of writing METAFONT for families of fonts, and in the presence of such style, the package can generate driver files to use when generating particular fonts.
