spiderweb – A tool for building WEB systems
Spidery WEB is built around the tool Spider, that reads a description of a programming language, and writes source code for a Weave and a Tangle which support that language. The base sources derive from CWEB, so that the resulting programs inherit some properties of that system (e.g., the ability to read multiple files). Spider itself is written in Awk, and the Weave and Tangle output is in C.
Spidery WEB is no longer supported: its author used lessons learned from the development to produce the still more compact noweb system.
