dates209 – Flexible date macros
The package provides date macros for British English use; its version of \today produces (by default) output in the form ‘Thursday 4th October 1066’.
Other macros provide day names, phase of the moon, and British-style ordinal number suffixes. Documentation appears as comment in the body of the file.
