Summary description: Manipulate “soft paths” in PGF
Announcement text:
New feature: ability to separate out the shortening due to an arrowhead from the rendering of the arrow itself. This is useful if using arrows with knots. Also, several bug fixes to bring it in line with updates to LaTeX3, and to fix other issues.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/spath3 The package’s files themselves can be inspected at https://mirrors.ctan.org/graphics/pgf/contrib/spath3/
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Petra Rübe-Pugliese

spath3 – Manipulate “soft paths” in PGF
The spath3 library provides methods for manipulating the “soft paths” of TikZ/PGF.
Packaged with it are two TikZ libraries that make use of the methods provided. These are libraries for drawing calligraphic paths and for drawing knot diagrams.
