CTAN Update: struktex
Date: April 11, 2012 5:54:33 PM CEST
On Tue, 10 Apr 2012, Jobst Hoffmann submitted an update to the
struktex
package.
Summary description: A package for the creation of Nassi-Shneiderman diagrams.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
Draw Nassi-Schneidermann charts Even in the age of OOP one must develop algorithms. Nassi-Shneiderman diagrams are a well known tool to describe an algorithm in a graphical way. This package StrukTeX presents some macros for generating those diagrams in a LaTeX document. The package provides the most important elements of a Nassi-Shneiderman diagram, including processing blocks, loops, mapping conventions for alternatives, etc. Diagrams are drawn using the picture environment (using pict2e for preference). The author is Jobst Hoffmann. See also pict2e. If one is working with (X)emacs and AUCTeX the "drawing" process is supported by structex.el, a style file which knows the syntax of most of the commands from the StrukTeX package. Version v141 corrects setting of default values.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/struktex/ . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/struktex (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf
