I am pleased to announce the release of the v1.4 update to the IEEEtrantools LaTeX package. IEEEtrantools.sty provides several commands from IEEEtran.cls, including \IEEEPARstart and the IEEEeqnarray family so that they may be used under other class files. Version 1.4 is based on version 1.8a of IEEEtran.cls. V1.4 is mainly a service release with internal code improvements for command argument processing and support for future features. ieeetrantools – Functionality from IEEEtran for use with other classes
The package provides several commands from the IEEEtran class file so that they can be used under other LaTeX classes; the package should not be used in a document that uses that parent class. The user guide only covers the ways in which usage differs from that in the parent class; thus the documentation of that class should be regarded as part of the documentation for the package.
