Date: August 23, 2023 12:58:48 PM CEST
Andrew Parsloe submitted an update to the
numerica-plus
package.
Version: 3.0.0
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Iteration and recurrence relations: finding fixed points, zeros and extrema of functions
Announcement text:
Version 3.0.0 of numerica-plus has the necessary code adjustments to accommodate the change to version 3 of numerica. A section on Newton-Raphson iteration has been added to the documentation.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/numerica-plus The package’s files themselves can be inspected at https://mirrors.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/numerica-plus/
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Petra Rübe-Pugliese

numerica-plus – Iteration and recurrence relations: finding fixed points, zeros and extrema of functions
The package defines commands to iterate functions of a single variable, find fixed points, zeros and extrema of such functions, and calculate the terms of recurrence relations.
numerica-plus requires the package numerica, which in turn requires l3kernel , l3packages, and the amsmath and mathtools packages.
