The font file "dingbats.pfb" had an error (glyph 67) compared to the metafont version. Thankfully, Scott Pakin has now provided a corrected version.

niceframe-type1 – Type 1 versions of the fonts recommended in niceframe
The bundle provides Adobe Type 1 versions of the fonts bbding10, dingbat, karta15, umranda and umrandb.
