The dataref team (1 person) is proud to announce version 0.6. Besides technical improvements of in the datapoint processing (use pgfkeys), version 0.6 now provides are more consistent API. Furthermore, unit handling and automatic scaling is support. For example, you can scale a 1000 second datapoint automatically to "16.6 m". A better documentation document completes the picture.

dataref – Manage references to experimental data
The package provides a mechanism that maintains a fixed symbolic reference to numerical results; such results may vary as the project proceeds (and hence the project report develops).
