ZUGFeRD v0.8 Getting reading for E-invoicing the ZUGFeRD LaTeX packaged provides the possibility to create E-invoice XML files while building the invoice PDF. It's still under development, but already able to produce valid invoices for the most common business cases.

ZUGFeRD – ZUGFeRD and Faktur-X invoicing using LaTeX
This package provides interfaces to allow creating ZUGFeRD or Faktur-X invoices with LaTeX including the XML file. It can be used to modify personal invoicing templates to fulfil the requirements for digital invoicing without further modification of the invoicing processes.
