CTAN has a new package: xyling
Date: August 1, 2006 11:33:38 AM CEST
On Mon, 31 Jul 2006, Ralf Vogel submitted a new package called
xyling
to CTAN.
Location on CTAN: macros/latex/contrib/xyling
Summary description: Macros to draw syntactic trees and similar graphical
objects used in linguistics literature, based on xypic.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
The macros in this package model the construction of linguistic tree structures as a genuinely graphical problem: they contain two types of objects, BRANCHES and NODE LABELS, and these are positioned relative to a GRID. It is essential that each of these three elements is constructed independent of the other two, and hence they can be modified without unwanted side effects. The macros are based on the xypic package.
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf
