CTAN Update: movie15
Date: December 16, 2005 9:53:56 AM CET
On Thu, 15 Dec 2005, Alexander Grahn submitted an update to the
movie15
package.
Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/movie15/
Summary description: Multimedia inclusion package
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
If the same media file is included several times, its file contents will now be embedded only once into the resulting PDF, reducing the size of the latter. Things like \EveryShipout{ \includemovie[autoplay]{0pt}{0pt}{pagesound.mp3} } can now be done without blowing up the PDF file too much.
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

movie15 – Multimedia inclusion package
The package provides an interface to embed movies, sounds and 3D objects into PDF documents for use with LaTeX as well as pdfLaTeX.
The package defines a command \includemovie with PDF-1.5 compatibility. Option ‘autoplay’ causes the media clip to be started right after the page has loaded. This is useful for side by side movie clips to be played back synchronously.
The package is now superseded by media9
