Name of contribution: empheq Author's name: Morten H�gholm Location on CTAN: macros/latex/contrib/empheq Summary description: empheq v1.05b License type: lppl Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The empheq (emphasizing equations) package is designed for two purposes: 1) To allow a multi line equivalent of \boxed from amsmath which can be used with all of the display environments from amsmath. 2) To produce arbitrary delimiters for arbitrary math displays. The user-friendly interface allows the user to put a set of equations inside a box thus enhancing the \boxed feature of amsmath. As a side effect it's also possible to add material on both sides of the equations including auto-scaling delimiters. It also supports the end-of-theorem markers from ntheorem out of the box, as the problems with those markers can be circumvented by using empheq. This version of empheq is incompatible with versions prior to and including v0.7a.
