Summary description: Update for mfpic4ode - dashed and dotted trajectories
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
Mfpic4ode is a collection of macros for drawing slope fields and phase portraits of first order ODE's and planar autonomous systems. This new version, allows to draw trajectories with prefixes like \dashed, \dotted, \gendashed etc.
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/mfpic4ode/ . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/pkg/mfpic4ode (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . mfpic4ode – Macros to draw direction fields and solutions of ODEs
The package is a small set of macros for drawing direction fields, phase portraits and trajectories of differential equations and two dimensional autonomous systems. The Euler, Runge-Kutta and 4th order Runge-Kutta algorithms are available to solve the ODEs. The picture is translated into mfpic macros and METAPOST is used to create the final drawing. The package is was designed for use with LaTeX, but it can be used in plain TeX as well.
