This package provides \VerbatimCopy{in}{out} that will enable LaTeX to take a verbatim copy of one text file, and save it under another name. Be careful when using \VerbatimCopy, it will overwrite the output target without warning. The package is based on an idea posted on comp.text.tex by Ulrich Diez.
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/verbatimcopy . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/cgi-bin/ctanPackageInformation.py?id=verbatimcopy (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). verbatimcopy – Make copies of text documents from within LaTeX
This package provides \VerbatimCopy{in}{out} that will enable LaTeX to take a verbatim copy of one text file, and save it under another name.
The package provides a means to specify the output directory to be used, but does no checking and may therefore overwrite an important file if used injudiciously.
