Date: March 28, 2019 8:10:33 PM CET
John Bowman submitted an update to the asymptote package. Version: 2.48 License: lgpl3 Summary description: 2D and 3D TeX-Aware Vector Graphics Language Announcement text:
The OpenGL code was modernized to use GLSL shaders. Transparent triangles of different materials are now sorted before drawing. The viewport option from the light function was removed. A workaround was implemented for the Ghostscript transparency extension -dSAFER bug. Bugs in the simplex method were fixed. Experimental offscreen rendering is now disabled by default due to NVIDIA conflicts. The min, max, minratio, maxratio, and intersection calculations were accelerated. A workaround was implemented for broken Intel GPU drivers under MSWindows.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/asymptote The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/graphics/asymptote/
