Romano Giannetti submitted an update to the
CircuiTikZ
package.
Version: 1.3.3 2021-04-04
License: lppl gpl
Summary description: Draw electrical networks with TikZ
Announcement text:
Several usability additions in this version, and one small fix that could change the look of your circuit (without affecting correctness). Some of the arrow shapes are now configurable. - Added options to fine-tune the position of labels and annotations - Added options to change arrow tips on variable resistors, inductors and capacitors as well as in potentiometers - Added options to change arrow tips on switches - Added anchors to inductance to add core lines - Fixed the default direction of tunable arrows (with an option to go back to the old ones)
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/circuitikz The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/graphics/pgf/contrib/circuitikz/
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Petra Rübe-Pugliese

CircuiTikZ – Draw electrical networks with TikZ
The package provides a set of macros for naturally typesetting electrical and (somewhat less naturally, perhaps) electronic networks.
It is designed as a tool that is easy to use, with a lean syntax, native to LaTeX, and directly supporting PDF output format. It has therefore been based on the very impressive PGF/TikZ package.
