Overview: This package contains a library and a command line program to convert from PNG/JPEG/NetPBM to EPS. Different compression and encoding mechanisms are available when producing the EPS output file. Suggestions how to modify dvips to use the library are included too. Update contents: - Modification suggestions for dvips 5.92 were added. - Guido Gonzato contributed a .spec file for RPM creation. It is in the unsupported/rpm-spec directory as bmeps.spec. The directory is named unsupported because my Linux is a Debian one, so I do not know anything about building RPMs. The file is for those how know... No changes were applied to the source code for the libbmeps library or the bmeps program itself.
